Have you thought about solar?

Now may be the time to start…
Green is growing. Worldwide, people are taking the initiative to clean up their energy sources at home and in their businesses. As state and federal governments offer increased financial incentives and people see solar as an economic and environmental solution, corporations, small businesses and homeowners are recognizing the benefits of solar energy.
As a trusted business serving the area for nine years, we have strong roots in our industry and the community. We also pride ourselves on our innovation, providing our customers with the best products and services available. We are excited about our move into the solar industry, and are here if you have any questions about the options available or the benefits of a solar system.

Why should you do your part to “go green”?
The obvious answer is environmental responsibility. Solar is a clean, efficient, and sustainable form of energy, and as the industry grows, reliance on traditional, pollutant energy sources declines. By committing to a renewable energy source, you slow the effects of global warming and battle the strain of the energy crisis, creating a better world for today and tomorrow.
Solar power can save the world while saving you money. The cost of electricity is on the rise, and by installing a solar system on your property, you gain energy independence and see a dramatic decrease in your utility bills. In addition, a solar installation increases property value – every $1 reduction in annual utility bills adds $20 to the value of the building. Solar is a smart investment; you can go green to save green.

What are your solar options?
Each property has its own solar solution. Electricity and hot water usage can determine which fit is best for you. Solar powered systems can produce either electricity, using photovoltaic crystalline panels, or hot water, from a solar thermal application.

PV (crystalline) panels convert light (photo) into electricity (volt).
-The PV cells absorb sunlight, which allows electrons to flow through the material to generate electricity.
-Have the highest efficiency levels of any solar product on the market at 18.5% efficiency
-The panels come in kitted systems of 1 to 5 kW and usually require southward-facing racking.
Solar hot water systems heat water through solar collectors that trap the sun’s energy and use it to heat the water needed for your property.
-Enerworks systems are certified by the SRCC and have earned a government Energy Star rating.
-Usually generate around 80% of the hot water needs of a home or building

How much does solar cost?
The size and cost of your solar system depends on your goals. Average electrical use, climate, and roof angle are other contributing factors. A hybrid installation (a percentage of energy comes from the utility provider and a percentage from solar) can maximize your investment. We help determine the best solution to fit your needs.
With new federal and state incentives, solar is more accessible than ever before. Federal tax credits can reduce the cost of an install by 30% - and state tax credits and rebates offer additional savings. We can connect you with these and other financing options to help make your solar dream a reality.
